Guarded Crown is proud to present this 40mm Rolex GMT-Master II “Coke”. This Rolex, with Reference Number 16710 is attached to a Rolex Oyster bracelet which is stamped with the bracelet code 93150 on both of the last links, and it is completed with 501B end-links. The bracelet is fitted with a large clasp and Rolex bracelet extension. Additionally, the folding sections of the clasp are stamped with the date code V3 (1996) and code 93150. This watch has a sapphire crystal with date magnification. The handset and dial indices do not glow and have developed a light vanilla colored patina. The dial is marked SWISS - T < 25 indicating that the Swiss made dials’ lume contains an amount of tritium that emits less than 25 mCi. The watch comes with the original Rolex outer box, display box, warranty papers dated 1996, red hang tag and green hang tag which has the serial number on it.
The case condition of this piece is exceptional and the original caseback sticker is present. The hands and dial are in impeccable condition. The sapphire crystal and cyclops are in very good condition. The bezel and insert are also in very good condition. The bracelet is in great condition, with only minor stretch, as expected, for a hollow link bracelet. The clasp is in very good shape, with a beautifully crisp coronet, and only very minor signs of wear. This is one truly superior example of a mid-90’s Tritium GMT.
