Guarded Crown is excited to present this 40mm cased stainless steel Rolex Submariner Date “Kermit” has the Reference Number: 16610LV, circa 2007. The watch is fitted to the original 93250 bracelet, with 12.5 links, diver’s extension, solid end links, and the clasp has a EO1 date code, which properly dates it to 2007. The watch’s sapphire crystal is in excellent condition. The hands are original Rolex Super LumiNova hands, in mint condition. The 31 jeweler, caliber 3135 movement beats at 28,800 mph frequency, with a 50-hour power reserve. The watch has a stated water resistance of 300 meters. The movement winds smoothly with its trip lock crown, and it is keeping time within COSC specifications.
This Anniversary LV Sub would be classified as a Mk VI variant. This is the last of the non-engraved rehauts, as many of the 2007 models, and all of the later variants have laser engraved rehauts.
This Sub has the Mk IV insert, with a pointed four and Square five (the internal corners of the five in ‘50’ are perfectly square). The original green bezel insert is in nice condition with a Luminova pearl.
The case is the C1 variant: ‘T’ case with solid lugs and the model number engraved between the lugs, with “T” standing for “Trou Borgne”, or “blind hole”. The serial number is engraved between the lugs at six o’clock in the traditional Rolex style.
The excellent original Mk IV black Super LumiNova 'maxi' dial has the Round ”O” in ”Rolex”, a narrowly spaced ‘Oyster Perpetual Date’ signature where the ‘R’ of Oyster sits between the legs of the ‘R’ in Rolex and the narrow ‘Swiss Made’ with 3 shortened minute markers, 28 and 32 markers are standard length and ‘Swiss Made’ is tucked between the w=two markers at 28 and 32.
Our images detail the scratches to the insert, case, bracelet, clasp, etc, but feel free to reach out if you’d like more images or have any questions. This piece is a treasure amongst 16610LV Subs, and would be a spectacular addition to any collection.
